That time had come again, Once again it was time to head off to the SC as Marie called it for not wanting to say the full name. This was also the one night at camp that Marie actually wanted to get dressed up. She always knew when and when not to look her best, and where she was headed, it was always best to look at least nice if you were going in the evening, when the most people were going to be there. Her Mom would be so proud if she was able to see her now, for once she wasn't going to be in the shirt skirts or tight shirts. Marie was even ditching the arm warmers and boots for a change. But luckily enough her mom couldn't be there yet, leave it to her for how "adorable" she looked.
With much help from Connie, Marie managed to zip the back of her black dress up without her hair getting stuck in it like it would if she idid it on her own. Connie wasn't going to dinner with them, at least not tonight. If she was going with anyone it would be Giovanni, those two were always together, in or out of camp. Marie got jealous of their relationship sometimes because it felt like she was losing her best friend and her cousin but at least the two of them were happy together. That was all that really mattered to Marie, but she still couldn't help but feel like she was losing a little piece of herself with how close the two were as a couple, both in so many ways.
Ready at last, Marie called for her driver...the one her Mom had seen fit to have near by just in case the girl ever needed him. Fifteen minutes later he pulled up in front of the camp and headed off in the direction of the diner they would be eating at. Thanking Franco, her driver, Marie watched him drive off before straightening her dress out and walking in. A smile on her face when she saw that, like always, Ellie was already there. Giving a polite "hello" to everyone she passed by Marie moved to their table and sat down across from her best friend.
