Marie's end of camp last year didn't go so well. With her Dad passing she went into a temporary depression but still stayed and braved it through. The funeral had to have been the hardest thing for her to sit in, but with the help of her friends and family she made it. For a while she would tune everyone and everything out but shortly realized that her Dad would have never wanted her to live that way. He would have wanted them all to live happily and miss him, but not stop caring. So, she came back to herself, continuing on with trying to be a singer, something her father would have been proud of her for.
Somewhere in the beginning of the school year her Mom got a promotion, moving the family from the San Diego area to the Los Angeles where Marie was put in a new school for her sophomore. The only good thing about it to her was the music program and that was only because she had a friend from camp who went to school there. Well, she graduated but barely and now she's back at camp ready for a new year of camp. Her hopes of finally reaching her dreams set high.
